Acceptance of Terms
These Terms govern your use of metamorfiles.com and of Metamorfiles Studio (together, the "Service"), provided by Metamorfiles ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Description of Service
- Free tools: image compression and format conversion that run in your browser, with no account required
- Metamorfiles Studio: downloadable software that runs on your computer and works with AI apps you choose to build image templates and render variants
Studio License
Studio is sold as a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The license agreement shipped with the software (LICENSE.md) also applies. If it conflicts with these Terms, the license agreement prevails for the software.
What you get
- A non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Studio for personal and commercial work, including client work
- A personal download key for every version released for as long as Studio is offered
- Continued use of the versions you installed without a time limit
- Installation on every computer you use yourself
Download key and seats
A purchase covers one person. After checkout you get a download key, which installs and updates Studio on your computers. Keep it private. For a team, buy one license per person.
Price
During launch, the first 100 licenses sell for$49. After that the price is$79. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout. Prices are in US dollars. We may change prices for future purchases; this never affects a license you already own.
Restrictions
- Do not resell, sublicense or redistribute the software or modified copies of it
- Do not share your download key or copies of the software with people who have not bought their own license
Payments and Refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe under its terms. You can request a full refund within 14 days of payment by emailingcontact@metamorfiles.com. A refund disables your download key and ends your right to use Studio.
AI Apps and Providers
Studio works with third-party AI apps, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and Cursor, and can generate images through services you connect: ChatGPT through Codex, OpenRouter, or an image provider with your own API key. We do not provide, resell or control these services. Your use of them, including costs, usage limits, content policies and data handling, is governed by your agreements with those providers.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Create or distribute content that is illegal, violent, harassing, defamatory or promotes hate or discrimination
- Impersonate real people or organizations, or create content meant to deceive
- Infringe copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property rights
- Exploit vulnerabilities in, or interfere with, the website or the Studio download service
Content and Intellectual Property
Your content
You own the brand kits, templates and images you create. Studio processes them on your computer, and we claim no rights to them. You are responsible for having the rights to the material you use, including fonts, photos and logos.
Metamorfiles intellectual property
The Metamorfiles name, logo, software, website and documentation are our intellectual property, except for third-party components listed in the software's NOTICE.md under their own licenses.
Availability
The free tools and website may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance. Studio runs on your computer and does not depend on our website while it runs. It only contacts our download service when you install or update it, to check your key.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so some may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
Termination
We may revoke a license that was obtained fraudulently, refunded or charged back, or used in breach of these Terms or the license agreement. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Brazil, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest will remain in effect.
