Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Metamorfiles Studio ("Metamorfiles," "Service," "we," "us," or "our") at metamorfiles.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Description of Service

Metamorfiles Studio is a browser-based image editing and design platform that includes:

  • Free Tools: Image compression and format conversion tools that work entirely in your browser (no account required)
  • Studio Editor: A professional image editing workspace with layers, shapes, text, and design tools
  • AI Features: AI-powered image generation, background removal, style transfer, and other AI enhancements
  • Cloud Storage: Save and sync your projects across devices (Pro subscribers)

User Accounts

To access certain features of Metamorfiles Studio, you must create an account. By creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Maintain only one account per person

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 must have parental consent to use AI features.

Subscriptions and Billing

Pro Plan

Our Pro subscription plan costs $7.99 USD per month and includes:

  • 100 AI credits per billing cycle
  • Unlimited cloud saves for your projects
  • Full access to all Studio editor features
  • Priority support

Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

  • Billing occurs on the same day each month as your initial subscription
  • Prices are in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes
  • We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:

  • You retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period
  • Unused AI credits expire at the end of your billing period and are not refunded
  • You can request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription (money-back guarantee)
  • After 14 days, no partial refunds are provided for cancellations

AI Credits and Usage

AI features in Metamorfiles Studio are powered by credits. Pro subscribers receive 100 credits per billing cycle.

Credit Costs

Different AI operations consume different amounts of credits based on computational complexity. Credit costs are displayed before each operation.

Credit Policy

  • Credits do not roll over to the next billing cycle
  • Credits reset to 100 at the start of each billing period
  • Failed AI operations that do not produce output do not consume credits
  • Additional credits cannot be purchased separately at this time

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Metamorfiles Studio only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

  • Create illegal content: Generate, upload, or distribute content that violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Create harmful content: Generate content that is violent, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or promotes hate or discrimination
  • Create deceptive content: Use AI features to create deepfakes, impersonate real individuals, or generate misleading content intended to deceive
  • Generate NSFW content: Create sexually explicit or pornographic material using our AI features
  • Infringe intellectual property: Upload or generate content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
  • Abuse the service: Attempt to bypass usage limits, exploit vulnerabilities, or interfere with the Service's operation
  • Automate without permission: Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service without our written consent

You must also comply with the acceptable use policies of our AI providers, including Google's AI Principles and Replicate's Terms of Service.

Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of images and content you create or upload to Metamorfiles Studio. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

AI-Generated Content

For content generated using our AI features:

  • You may use AI-generated content for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms
  • AI-generated content may be subject to the terms of our AI providers (Google, Replicate)
  • You are responsible for ensuring your use of AI-generated content complies with applicable laws

Metamorfiles Intellectual Property

The Metamorfiles name, logo, and all related branding, software, design elements, and documentation are our intellectual property. You may not use, copy, or modify these without our written permission.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be:

  • Temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues
  • Subject to capacity limits during high-demand periods
  • Modified, updated, or discontinued at our discretion

AI features depend on third-party providers and may be affected by their availability and policies.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Our total liability for any claims related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Metamorfiles, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if:

  • You violate these Terms or our acceptable use policies
  • We are required to do so by law
  • Your conduct harms other users or the integrity of the Service
  • Your account has been inactive for an extended period

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Brazil. You waive any objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to venue in such courts.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Metamorfiles regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
