Metamorfiles ("we," "us," or "our") operates metamorfiles.com, which offers free browser-based image tools and sells Metamorfiles Studio, software that runs on your own computer. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

How We Handle Your Images
Information We Collect
Purchases
Studio is sold through Stripe, which processes the payment. We never see or store your card details. We receive:
- Your name, email address and country
- The price and date of your purchase
Downloads
When you install Studio, and about once a day to check for updates, your download key is sent to our download service, which checks it with Stripe. Our host keeps standard request logs, such as your IP address. Your download key and any image service keys you connect are stored only on your computer, in its password store where it has one. Nothing about your projects leaves your computer.
Website analytics
We use PostHog to understand how the website is used:
- Pages visited and features used
- Browser type and operating system
- General geographic location (country level)
- Referring website
- Session duration

If you email us, we keep the conversation to help you and to improve the product.
AI Image Generation
Studio can generate images when a template asks for them. This is optional and uses a service you connect: ChatGPT through Codex on your ChatGPT plan, OpenRouter, or an image provider with your own API key (such as OpenAI, Google, xAI, fal, Replicate, Black Forest Labs, Together or DeepInfra). Prompts and reference images go directly from your computer to that service and the model provider you select, under their terms and privacy policies. They do not pass through our servers.
Metamorfiles does not train AI models on your content.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide the product: check download keys and send purchase receipts
- Support you: answer questions and process refunds
- Improve the website: understand which pages and tools are useful
- Communicate: send important notices about your purchase or Studio
- Legal compliance: meet tax and accounting obligations
Third-Party Services

Each service handles data under its own privacy policy. Image services and AI apps you use with Studio are services you choose and contract with directly.
Data Retention
- Purchase and license records: retained for 5 years for legal and tax compliance
- Support emails: retained for up to 2 years after the conversation ends
- Analytics data: aggregated and anonymized after 24 months

You have the right to:
- Access: request a copy of your personal data
- Correction: request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: request deletion of your personal data, except where we must keep it by law
